Day 1: Arusha National Park

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Arusha town. We’ll then drive to Arusha National Park for a scenic wildlife experience. Keep your eyes peeled for buffaloes, bushbucks, giraffes, hippos, and a variety of water birds. You’ll also have the opportunity to experience a guided walk to the mesmerizing waterfalls near Mount Meru, accompanied by an armed park ranger. This exhilarating walk will take approximately two hours round-trip. As the day draws to a close, we’ll drive back to your hotel in Arusha town, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After a satisfying breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Arusha town at 7:30 AM. We’ll then embark on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. This hidden gem of Tanzania is renowned for its abundant wildlife, making it a true haven for nature enthusiasts. Throughout the day, we’ll explore various locations within the park, allowing you to witness the thriving populations of elephants, predators, and their agile prey. As the sun begins to set, we’ll make our way to Manyara (Mto wa Mbu) for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at Twiga Campsite Lodge.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll depart from your hotel/camp at 7:30 AM for a memorable journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Prepare to be amazed by the picturesque landscapes and rich biodiversity as we enter the Great Rift Valley and reach the park. The tranquil waters of the lake are home to a wide array of bird species, including elegant flamingos. You’ll also encounter numerous ponds inhabited by graceful hippos. We’ll spend the entire day exploring the wonders of Manyara National Park before retiring to Twiga Campsite Lodge for a delicious dinner.

Day 4: Ndutu/Olduvai

After breakfast, we’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a thrilling game drive in the Ndutu Area. This region in the southern Serengeti offers the best views of the annual wildebeest migration. Prepare to witness magnificent wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, cheetahs, leopards, and more. We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch amidst picturesque surroundings before visiting Olduvai Gorge, known for groundbreaking archaeological discoveries by Louis and Mary Leakey. After an eventful day, we’ll have a comfortable dinner and overnight stay at Rhino Lodge in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

On this final day of our Tanzania Affordable Safari, we will begin with a hearty breakfast at 7:00 AM. Afterward, we will descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable crater tour. Brace yourself for an extraordinary experience as you explore this natural wonder, renowned for its stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Keep your camera ready to capture sightings of the diverse animal species that call the crater home, including lions, elephants, zebras, rhinos, and a variety of birdlife.

At 12:15 PM, we will start our ascent from the crater and head back to the lodge. A delicious hot lunch will be served, allowing you to savor the flavors of Tanzania one last time. After the meal, we will begin our return journey to Arusha town, where we started on this adventure. Take a moment to reflect on the incredible memories made during the safari as we travel back and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

Upon arrival in Arusha, it will be time to bid farewell, knowing that you have experienced the best of Tanzania’s national parks and wildlife.
