Chemka Hot spring – Day trip

Chemka Hot Springs, also known as Kikuletwa Hot Springs, is a natural oasis located in northern Tanzania, near the town of Moshi and approximately 50 kilometers from Arusha. It is a hidden gem nestled amidst the lush greenery of the Tanzanian countryside.

The Chemka Hot Springs offers captivating, Bounty-styled views, crystal-clean water and dense vegetation around.

The temperature of the water remains consistently warm, making it an ideal spot for swimming and relaxation. The natural springs are formed by an underground river that flows from Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.

It’s the best place to visit after a Kilimanjaro hike or a safari adventure.    

The natural pool formed by the hot springs is quite deep and allows for swimming and diving. Visitors can take a dip in the refreshing water, snorkel to explore the underwater world, or simply lounge on the surrounding rocks and soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

4:00 PM – Depart from Chemka Hot Springs:

6:00 PM – Return to Arusha:
