Our responsibility in the places we operate – Serengeti Joy Tours is Licensed Tanzania Tour company and a corporate member of travel society. Our mountain and safari guides are natives, all born and brought up in Tanzania and have in-depth guiding skills. The JOY team attend regular guiding training courses to ensure high level of customer care. The courses include first-aid-training, language courses, guiding skills and specific mountain guiding training courses.
Serengeti Joy Tours as a tour company based in Arusha Tanzania we care for the environment, we love our land and consider it as our most precious asset and try to keep our impact as small as possible. On safari parks our driver tour guides follow established rules to avoid disturbance to wildlife or damaging the nature in the area in which we operate. We have very good packing system when we go camping to comply we our implemented initiatives to reduce our waste in the area. This includes recycling water bottles and using GAS for cooking instead of fire wood or charcoal.
The safari cars we use are Toyota land cruisers modified to popup roof for easy animal viewing. The safari vehicles we use on safaris are uniquely modified and converted Toyota Land cruisers to long chassis extensions to allow enough room for luggage and leg stretching while on safari. We have invested a lot for the comfort of individuals who book our African trips on the rough and bumpy roads offering fantastic views and giving our clients excellent chance for safe and uninterrupted shooting while on wildlife sightings. The equipment we use on Kilimanjaro and on camping safaris has to bear up the mug of contact to the aspect: excessive temperatures, snow and ice storms and prevailing sunlight. Good quality materials and regular maintenance of equipment are essential for constant safety and toughness and all apparatus are substituted and updated occasionally.
