Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Depart Maasai Mara after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving Sarova Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Another morning game drive in Nakuru, then depart for Nairobi arriving approx. 1300 hrs. Drop off at Nairobi Serena Hotel. Overnight at Nairobi Serena – Full board.

Morning visit Orphanage elephant and giraffe in Nairobi, after lunch drive to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for the evening flight to Kilimanjaro. Pick up upon arrive and transfer to Arusha for overnight. Overnight at Mount Meru Hotel – Full board.

Pick up from your hotel in Arusha Town. Drive to the crater with unique views of the high altitude rain forest surrounding the crater rim. Descend to the crater for game viewing with picnic lunch inside the crater floor until late evening when you will drive out of the crater to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge built into the rim of a dormant volcanic wall. After breakfast leave the Ngorongoro areas and drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai George, prehistoric site. Arrive at your lodge for lunch. After breakfast depart to Manyara. Lunch and afternoon game drive in this superb scenic park set around Lake Manyara, most famous for the tree climbing lions. Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Marvel at the variety of species, spoonbill, teal, pelican, kingfisher, hornbill and cormorant. In the tall trees, forest monkeys leap from branch to branch on the slope of the Great Rift escarpment, elephants stand in the shade of the baobab; and in the acacia woodland and lions lie draped along the branches of the umbrella trees.
