Day 1: Arrival Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO)

Met upon your arrival in NBO and transfer to Hotel in Nairobi Accommodation: Norfolk Hotel for Dinner.

Day 2: Nairobi / Samburu

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson airport in Nairobi for a flight to Samburu; met on arrival and have game drives in Samburu. Estimated driving distance: 1hr flight Activities: Game drives Accommodation & Meals: Larsens Luxury Camp. All meals included.

Day 3: Samburu

More game drives in the Samburu, home to reticulated giraffe, dik dik, grevy zebra, and Somali ostrich Estimated driving distance: 0hrs drive Activities: Game drives Accommodation & Meals: Larsens Luxury Camp. All meals included.

Day 4: Samburu / Sweetwaters

After breakfast, we drive for 3hrs to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya to arrive in Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives in this private sanctuary, including a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. We will also visit Morani the domestic rhino. Estimated driving distance: 3hrs drive Activities: Game drives & Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary Accommodation & Meals: Sweetwater’s Tented Camp. All meals included.

Day 5: Sweetwaters / Masai Mara

A short drive to Nanyuki airstrip in Mount Kenya Park; flight to Masai Mara, Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary. Met on arrival by your driver safari guide in Mara, game drives in Mara. Estimated driving distance: 1hr drive, followed by 1hr flight Activities: Game drives Accommodation & Meals: Governors Camp (Main). All meals included.

Day 6: Masai Mara

We will spend more time in Maasai Mara, with opportunities to see herds of elephant, impala, buffalo, giraffe, as well as leopard, cheetah, and lion. Estimated driving distance: 5hrs drive Activities: Game drives Accommodation & Meals: Governors Camp (Main). All meals included.

Day 7: Masai Mara / Kilimanjaro / Lake Manyara

After breakfast, we will drive to Mara airstrip for a morning flight to Wilson airstrip in Nairobi, connect with the other flight to Kilimanjaro airport; connect with another flight to Lake Manyara; met on arrival and have late afternoon game drive in Manyara. The Park is famed for its abundant birdlife, tree climbing lions and large herds of elephants. Other animal to be seen include buffalo, hippos, giraffe and antelopes. Afternoon game drives in Lake Manyara. Estimated driving distance: Combined flight time is 3 hrs Activities: Game drives Accommodation & Meals: Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. All meals included.

Day 8: Lake Manyara / Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Game drive in the Crater, exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games. Estimated driving distance: 2hrs drive Activities: Game drives Accommodation & Meals: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. All meals included.

Day 9: Ngorongoro / Serengeti

After breakfast, we drive to Central Serengeti with optional ($60/group) visit of Masai Village, and optional ($6/person) visit to Olduvai Gorge; game drives in Serengeti. Estimated driving distance: 3 hrs drive Activities: Game drives Accommodation & Meals: Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp. All meals included.

Day 10 – 13: Serengeti

Game drives in the Serengeti, exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of the large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed. Estimated driving distance: 10hrs drive each day for game drives. Activities: Game drives Accommodation & Meals: In December – April we will stay at Kusini Camp; In May – June we will stay at Mbalageti Camp (luxury chalet) and in July – November we will stay at Migration Camp. All meals included.

Day 14: Serengeti / Kilimanjaro / Departure

Another game drive in the Serengeti, then fly to Arusha / Kilimanjaro; day room is provided, then later transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your return flight (if your return flight is from NBO, we can get you a flight back to NBO for $220pp extra). Estimated driving distance: 1hr flight from Serengeti to Arusha; followed by 45 minutes drive to JRO Activities: Game drives. Tanzania Kenya 14 days. Accommodation & Meals: Day room at Ngurdoto lodge. Breakfast and lunch included
